Popsicles and Fudge Pops recipe

Summer would not be the same without kids eating Popsicle. Everywhere you go in the summer that is all you see. Ask a child if they want a Popsicle and the ear to ear grin is answer enough. For me, making Popsicle's was a green choice. So I have dusted off my homemade Popsicle and fudge pop recipes for the warm weather and thought I would share. These are very easy to make and  VERY flavorful . You can pick up Popsicle molds at second hand stores or make your own with paper cups and Popsicle sticks. I hope you enjoy!!

  • 1 box fruit flavored Jello
  • 1 packet Kool-Aid
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water

Dissolve the Jello and Kool-Aid in the boiling water. Add cold water. Pour into either Popsicle molds or plastic cups. Make sure to leave room for expansion at the top of the molds or cups. Put in the freezer until set and enjoy! If you use plastic cups you can cover with foil and poke a Popsicle stick through the top. Place on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer.

Fudge Pops

  • 1 pkg instant pudding (any flavor)
  • 1 1/2c cold milk
  • 2 c whipped cream

Mix the pudding and milk fir 2 minutes with a wire whisk. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour into molds and freeze. You can also add Oreo cookies, chocolate chips, whatever your taste.
